LEVEL I:

CER team works on the following evaluation activities with UD Project Staff to:

P1.5.1 review and revise the DEM,
P 1.5.2 plan and carry out evaluation activities and strategies, analyze data, report results to, and advise UD Project Staff based on formative data,

P 1.5.3 attend meetings and grant conferences as needed,

P1.5.4 prepare reports (for various stakeholders) as needed,

P 1.5.5 maintain the evaluation Web site on the CER server.

O1.5.1 DEM plan that enables all stakeholders to examine the path of the project as it progresses though the five years of implementation to reach the identified goals.

 

O 1.5.2-1.5.5 Completed documentation of evaluation activities, data analysis and reports as indicated in P 1.5.1.-1.5.5

LEVEL II:

P 2.5.1 CER and UD review and revise the DEM,

P 2.5.2 CER
ß helps UD plan and carry out evaluation activities and strategies

ß builds needed project-specific instruments, analyzes data, reports results to, and advises UD Project Staff based on formative data,

P 2.5.3 UD and CER attend meetings and grant conferences as needed,

P 2.5.4 CER prepares or helps UD prepare reports (for various stakeholders) as needed,

P 2.5.5 CER maintains the evaluation Web site on the CER server.

P 2.5.6 CER provides summative evaluation data and reports (year 5)

- attitudes, technology skills, technology availability and use of Language Arts and Social Studies teachers
-technology proficiencies, technology integration skills, and content knowledge of students in Language Arts and Social Studies classes
- parenting support skills, technology proficiencies and content knowledge of parents

   P 3.5.5 CER created an Urban Dreams evaluation Web site at http://www.tchp.org/oakland/ that will house information on the DEM plan and other evaluation activities and results. Because Project directors believe it is important to assure participants that they are free to discuss problems and frustrations in a safe atmosphere, online discussion groups will be created on the CER evaluation site to encourage ongoing communication and feedback from project teachers. Teachers who participate in these forums will be given project IDs that are known only to the CER technical staff and a statement will appear in all synchronous or asynchronous discussion areas that indicates that information cannot be linked to names by OSUD.
